Welcome to the KV8 Memorial Foundation

 When Kirk stepped onto the baseball field, his hustle & passion to be the best set him apart, but it was how he made others feel from the first time they met that made him truly special.   His quiet confidence, leadership & pure joy while playing made him the great player he was. 

The KV8 Memorial Foundation was founded to honor Kirk’s memory and the hope his legacy will be an inspiration to the players who follow him out onto the diamonds. 

The mission of the KV8 Foundation is to help those who have the love for the game  and commitment as Kirk had, but need some financial assistance to help those dreams come true. 

Annual Sponsorships & Scholarships are donated  to the following organizations:  

• Westmont High School Baseball Program in honor of the player wearing #8
• Westmont High School - KV8 Memorial Foundation Senior Scholarship
• Westmont High School Softball Program
• San Jose California Bulldogs  - KV8 Memorial Foundation Senior Scholarship
• Quito-Saratoga Little League
• Campbell Pony League
• KoaStrong Foundation (research focused on childhood cancer prevention)

in addition, we give grants to organizations and individual players who submit a grant application.
